Mural art and develloping project, several books, a bunch of drawings, lots of inspiration, several video movies and a cultural space are the outcome of this project, so far. Althoug the original mural painting is now gone, the developing project is very much alive and works as the fertile ground of The Cultural Space KATHARSIS, Videogalleriet, Gallery Katharsis, Katharsis Publishing, The Art School Katharsis and the Katharsis Artist Group. The Dream of the Prodigal Son, |
Mural art projects and performances on the theme of vanity, dreams and expectations. Althoug the main view about this theme is a critical vision upon our society, the tone is sympathetically and fictionally, full of surrealistic and fantasy details, and humorous. The goal is actually that everybody should feel fine when in the same space where the painting is and if any lesson one shoud get,it should come unforcibly to one, like a spontaneous thought.. Spatial meditation about the main (popular) fizical terms: time and space. Brandusa has a controversial view about it, so this project kind of joked and seriously tryed to challenge the relation between the to notions. Spiced by some unconventional points of view about society, history's reasons of changes and quite a few experiments, this project resulted in several foto series, performances, a music video, documentary and paintings, sculptures, installations and 3 exhibitions. This project involved so far 21 artists: visual artists, photographers, musicians, performers, writers and 1 clown. the project had several different exhibitions and video shows. this project is officially continuing at any given time. |

Art project focusing on the definition of what is art and what does art do for people? Being very much a research project, "How'd if" tryed to arouse danish critics attention also by creating at some point a totally unvaluable art piece, "the gift", which resulted in the most visited exhibition of that period in Copenhagen. The superficial representation of the show (exhibiting painted flowers) was eventually used by Louisiana Museum of Modern art. But none yet had the currage/ idealism to create and invest in a new space of unselfishly, nonprofit, effemeric art masterpiece. |

This was not just a project about time, existence and chronological implications but very much about perception and dimensions of reality, the universe and the travel. Related to both the Travel project and the "How'd if", the events of the project related to lots of different time-related experiences of lots of different people. It implicated 1 actor, 1 poet, 2 graphicians, 2 sculptors, 1engeneer and several other visual artists. It resulted in several experimental exhibitions, and 2 main shows in Italy and Copenhagen. |
