The Katharsis Project is an
art-in-progres project started in 1992 in Copenhagen by Mariella Brandusa and Octavian Neagu.

The monumental painting KATHARSIS was made in 1992 in Copenhagen to inaugurate the new Cultural Space Katharsis.
These 3 pictures are from the first major manifestation of the Katharsis Project and are mainly after the drawings of Brandusa. As the whole painting( and the project) is a team work together with Octavian it must be pointed out that in order to create a unitary piece of work, every part of the painting, the walls, ceiling and the floors were worked on by both artists. However, personal touches are easy to spot even in this context.
